Butterfly: Corradi's folding cover with a pantograph system offers a novel pergola design, inverting the traditional canvas concept. This new outdoor living solution builds upon the success of Alba, their established workhorse for adjustable blade covers.

Butterfly Pantograph System.

The cover folds using Butterfly, an innovative pantograph system featuring aluminium rods that support the canvas tubes. This upward folding mechanism leaves the space completely unobstructed below, a key difference from the standard downward folding pergolas’ system. The pantograph technology significantly reduces the bulk of the folded canvas, achieving a size reduction of up to 40% compared to other systems of similar dimensions.

Water-tightness.

The Alba Butterfly has been tested in very heavy rain and performed exceptionally well. It significantly exceeds the standard rain protection requirements. In fact, it can handle up to 300 liters of rain per hour per square meter, which means even at its largest size, it can withstand about 11,000 liters of rain per hour. The design of the curved support bars also makes the cover very strong. Additionally, the drainage system is specifically designed to minimize any dripping inside the pergola.
